United Arab Emirates foreign aid

Since its establishment in 1971, the UAE has provided unconditional foreign aid globally to support economic growth in developing countries and to provide basic social services to local communities whose living conditions need improvement.

 The primary objective of the UAE's foreign aid is to reduce poverty, promote peace and prosperity, and stimulate mutually beneficial economic relations by supporting trade and investment relations with developing countries. At the same time, this assistance is focused on specific sectors of society, with particular attention to women and children during natural disasters and in conflict zones.
